    Dear Madam/Sir
My name is Hannah Browne, I am 15 years old and I am enrolled to attend an Outward Bound course, which I would like a donation of anything for. The course is a ten day trip designed especially for high school students. It is basically an outdoor adventure course with some of the activities that I will do being kayaking, sailing, rock climbing, abseiling, hiking, team building activities and on the last night or two you do a solo which is when you stay the night in the bush by yourself.
I would like to go because it will challenge me and push me out of my comfort zone therefore giving me life skills such as working well in a team and being able to cope by myself. It will help me become more confident in myself and the things that I can do and will do in the future. It will make me fitter and more motivated to do things. Another reason I want to go is because all in all it will be a fantastic experience and one that I will be able to treasure for the rest of my life.
The course starts on the 23rd of September (two days after my birthday!) and costs $2700. I was hoping that you would be able to help and provide some funding towards it. Or if you could possibly donate some/a piece of your merchandise for me to put in my raffle that would be much appreciated as well. I am going to be holding a raffle to fundraise for Outward Bound but at the moment I don’t have anything to give the winner.
At the moment I have $300 towards the course from my Mum and Dad and I have so far put $100 towards it. Most of the $100 I made from selling plums outside my Grandma’s house. Some of my other fundraising ideas are having a high tea; baking lots of sweet treats and charging everyone $10 at the door to come in, selling chocolate or cookies or finding a part time job in the holidays.
So I would be very grateful is you contributed some funding towards it or if you would have any merchandise that you would be happy to give away I would be very appreciative. I will be holding a raffle to fundraise so I would be very grateful if you could help in any way and I would really appreciate it.
    Hannah Browne
